We have answered some frequently asked questions below.

How is advice provided?

We can provide advice in person or by Zoom or telephone at a time to suit you.

 

For Court or police station appearances we will always attend to in person to advise and represent you. ​

Do you offer free consultations?

Please contact us and your chosen solicitor will contact you to discuss options.

Will the same solicitor, lawyers or barrister deal with my case throughout?

Yes, we will always try to ensure you deal with the same solicitor, lawyer or barrister throughout.

Do you deal with other areas of law?

Although we primarily specialise in criminal defence and motoring law we may be able to recommend a solicitor to assist with your case.

Can you offer legal aid services?

We offer privately funded services, but legal aid may be available in exceptional cases. Please contact us to discuss funding options.

Are you independent of the police, the crown prosecution service and any other agency?

Yes, we are completely independent. We are regulated by the SRA and The Law Society. We work directly for you and no information is disclosed to anyone else without your permission. We will not act for anyone where there is a conflict of interests.

Can you work on a no win no fee basis?

No, no win no fee arrangements are usually found in areas of law where there is significant compensation available.

I already have a solicitor, can I transfer my case to you?

Yes, you can transfer your case at any stage, contact us to discuss.

Can we meet face to face to discuss my case?

Yes, contact us to arrange an appointment with your chosen solicitor.

How can I keep control of my legal costs? 

Contact us to discuss funding options, but we often work on a fixed fee arrangement to ensure you stay in control of legal costs. All costs are agreed before undertaking any work. Some costs are ancillary to our legal fees, often these are costs for forensic experts and barristers, in each case where such costs are likely to be incurred we will agree the costs with you in advance.

What payments do you you accept? 

A bank transfer is preferable, but credit or debit card payments can be arranged.  â€‹

What are your general terms and conditions and fees?
